40 lb Caps

The containers with this closure come with the following sealing solutions: washer, induction, degassing valve (ventilation valve) and induction with a degassing valve.

Washer
This is a screw cap for our 40 lb neck containers. A ratchet band helps deter tampering as it breaks reliably when the container is first opened. The cap has a polyethylene foam washer inside to provide a secure seal. This cap is first choice for companies who require the highest levels of protection and preservation for hazardous liquids, and want the security provided by a permanent airtight seal.

This cap preserves content with an airtight seal and a tamper evident band which breaks the first time the container is opened.

Induction
Properly-sealed products give consumers confidence regarding their quality and safety. Induction is a sealing option which preserves the content from the moment it is sealed in the container until it is used, preventing the content from being tampered with or altered.
In sectors such as the chemical and agrochemical industries, choosing induction closures allows the client to differentiate their products from those of their competitors by opting for a closure which preserves the qualities of the content and prevents imitation.

Moreover, our induction-sealed closures have a tamper-evident band which breaks the first time the container is opened

Degassing valve
In response to market demand, Envaplast offers the option of closures with degassing valves for our range of containers with the 40 lb neck.
There are certain liquids which can be difficult to pack, store and transport. Many of these products may emit gases or consume the air inside the container, causing leaks or warping the packaging. We have optimised the design of our closures with a valve to guarantee the integrity of any container throughout its useful life, from the moment it is filled to when it is emptied.

Our closures with a degassing valve control humidity and condensation inside the container. They also actively disperse gas inside the container while repelling liquid. This prevents the liquid escaping the container, even when this liquid is under static pressure (immersion) or dynamic pressure (aerosol), when it comes into contact with the ventilation component.

We provide ventilation solutions which help the container and its contents to survive in a variety of adverse environments. The ventilation valve takes into account thermal cycles, the surface tension of liquid which must not enter the container and incoming water pressure.
Some liquid, powdered and granulated products contain active ingredients which may emit gases which cause the container to bulge. Other ingredients consume oxygen from the interior of the container which causes the packaging to warp or contract. The closures with a valve we supply prevent these problems.
Our closures with a valve remain unaffected by aggressive chemical products. Nor do they wear away, degrade or get clogged when in contact with viscous liquids or particles in suspension. By optimising air flow and gas transmission, the active ingredients inside the container remain unchanged.
When chemical or agrochemical products are stored and transported it is vital that the containers maintain their integrity. Leaks and spills can be costly and dangerous.

Induction with degassing valve
Envaplast offers the option of closures with degassing values for our range of containers with the 40 lb neck. Clients wish to preserve the quality and integrity of certain liquids. These liquids may also emit gases or consume the air inside their container. The design of our induction closures with a degassing valve guarantees the integrity of the liquid and the container thanks to the induction sealing and the valve.
